Nothingness
nothingness. in its greatest yet most insignificant form. go ahead and enjoy the worthless nihilistic musings that follow.

only 11 days and 15 hours left until i am headed for the airport.
my flight leaves on friday the 7th at 1:45 and arrives in denver at 2:15.

jay and i fly out of DIA at 11:40pm that night and get to boston at 5:20 on saturday morning.
i am incredibly excited for our trip, especially now that i know we have a place to stay (an international hostel on the boston university campus one mile from fenway). i need to put my tickets to the friday night dave show on ebay as soon as i get a few minutes to spare. i also need to figure out the details of where i'm going to leave my car while i'm gone and how i'm going to get to the airport after class on friday.

my iPod broke again. i'm getting tired of it. i knew it was outside the warranty and figured i was just going to have to buy a new one, in which case i was going to buy a 2 gig black nano (a few things i was thinking about having engraved on it are below). somehow, i convinced the apple customer relations guy to authorize a free replacement (as long as they find it to be broken, which it is) and free shipping. i know they'll just send me another refurbished piece of crap old 20 gig, but we'll see how long it lasts. besides, i've been spending quite enough money on this trip to boston without needing to spend another $200 or so on a new ipod.

i am currently in the middle of writing my 12 page research paper for genetics. it has been hard for me to get moving on it, but now that i am already on the 5th or 6th page, i'll just keep trying to plow through before tourgasm (one of my new favorite shows. dane cook = amazing.) comes on at 10.

now, for the short one-liners i was contemplating...

I am guided by a force much greater than luck. (Lucas, from Empire Records)

The words she knows, the tune she hums. (lyrics from Tiny Dancer)

Eat, drink, and be merry. (a Dave lyric, of course)

How am I not myself? (from I Heart Huckabees)

Last words: I dig music. (Russell, from Almost Famous)

I am who I am, who I am. Well, who am I? (another Dave lyric, from Dancing Nancies)

You just gotta keep livin' man, L-I-V-I-N. (from Dazed and Confused)
