one down, one to go

my physiology class is officially done. i'm not sure when grades will be up, but soon probably since there were only 10 people in the class and dr. lambert was always really good about having our exams back to us the next day. i'm definitely glad it is over. i hadn't expected it to be so intense...i guess i was being naive about how difficult it was going to be, or perhaps i just underestimated the brevity of three weeks. the bright side (if finishing a 4 credit class in three weeks isn't enough) is that i am now three weeks closer to being home and that is definitely a good thing.
genetics is scaring me and the class hasn't even started yet. last week, i was told some bad news about the professor and her teaching style. and on wednesday, i received an email containing the assignment for our first class on monday. never a good sign. we'll see how it goes. only 5 weeks.
these three weeks have gone by so fast i can hardly believe it. some highlights:
work at 8am for three hours
four hours of class after that
endless studying
some work at the golf course
a few sonic runs with glow and bree
lots of csi episodes
a great deal of reading
seeing x-men 3
talking to some old friends
new music
i can only hope the next 5 go by half as quickly as the first 3 did. things to look forward to:
crew reunion/get-together tonight...even if it is just a few people
only having an hour and a half of class each day
hopefully getting in some golf now that i might have a little bit more time
more reading and relaxing
getting everything unpacked eventually
going home either for father's day or for the chicago/huey lewis concert (i need to make a decision soon)
i'm restless now. there are more things to say, but that will wait until later.
